Mildura is an oasis by the Murray River located in Victoria's far north-west – almost as far north-west as you can go without leaving Victoria! Mildura is easily accessible for a driving holiday from Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide - around six hours' drive from Melbourne with three major highways to get you there: the Sunraysia, Calder and Murray Valley.
Alternatively you could catch a flight to Mildura, with a number of regional airline services operating from Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney to Mildura Airport; or choose a coach or rail service - both also available from major cities. If you visit Mildura by air, rail or coach, you should consider car hire using one of the car rental companies in town to get out and experience the wonderful surrounding areas.
